Install Notes:
1. Install Trillian. (trillian-v4.1.0.18.exe) !Do not launch when install finishes!
2. Place patch (trillian_astra_beta_pro_patcher_4_beta_tester_v5.exe) into installation directory.
3. Open and run the patch. (u can uncheck \"make backup\" if u like)

Other Notes:
If you are new to Trillian Astra you must register a new account. Upon opening Trillian Astra for the first time, press Register for a new account and continue through the rest of signup with actual info.

For future builds (BETA or Final) go to http://www.trillian.im/download/ and use the patch included in this torrent. Patch should work for future builds, if not, it\'ll get figured out. ;)

Also, the patcher may show up as a virus/trojan/malware but i assure everyone that it is a false positive. INSTALLATION NOTES

READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!!!:

It is prefered that you launch Trillian Astra Pro and use it\'s
built in update feature. If you go this route then after update,
close Trillian Astra Pro and copy precracked exe from the \"Crack
Only\" folder to the installed folder of Trillian Astra Pro,
making sure to overwrite the existing file. Only use this method
if v4.0.118 is the latest build!

Method #2:

If you prefer to not use the updater or it will not launch, then
follow these instructions:

Install trillian-v4.0.0.117.exe and close Trillian after auto
launch. Next extract the contents from the archive
40118_Update_Incl_Crack.rar found in the \"Update Incl Crack\"
folder, to your installed Trillian Astra Pro folder, making sure
to overwrite ALL files. Reboot your machine if you have any
files that say they are in use and re-extract. Crack is already
copied over.

If you have already setup your account with a previous version
then your done, if not follow instructions below:

Launch Trillian Astra Pro and Register a new Astra Account. Fill
out required information (real email is needed for confirmation)
and make sure to UNCHECK I have previously purchased Trillian
Pro. Check your email and get confirmation code. Apply code and
now continue to setup your IM accounts. You now how a fully
registered version of Trillian Astra Pro!

Note About Update Methods:

Usually the above steps are not necessary, but because this
update is only available from the updater, it was needed as build
118 doesn\'t exist as a full setup file. Using the update.exe
that is downloaded on its own is not an option as it installs
into the root of your drive.

Ceruleanstudios hat eine Sneak Preview für die kommende Version Trillian Astra freigegeben. Diese enthält neben einem Flash Film über die neue Version auf sieben Seiten zahlreiche zusätzliche Informationen. Demnach ist Astra der Versuch, mehr als ein universeller Instant Messenger zu sein. Die Grundidee bleibt dabei bestehen: Trillian versucht, die verschiedenen Messenger Netzwerke zu vereinen. Dazu gibt es zukünftig ein Astra Profil, das als allgemeiner Kontakt dient und alle weiteren Messenger-Accounts in sich vereint. Dieses Profil kann um weitere Informationen ergänzt werden, und ist dann auch über eine persönliche Webseite auf trillianastra.com erreichbar. Für jede Information lässt sich dabei einstellen für wen sie sichtbar ist, Datenschutz und Sicherheit werden so garantiert. Die persönliche Profilseite bietet auch eine Chatmöglichkeit und soll sich bequem in zahlreiche Webdienste wie Blogs und Social Networking Seiten einbinden lassen.

Neben zahlreichen Erweiterungen in allen Bereichen und deutlichen Performance-Steigerungen gibt es auch neue Plugins für Google Talk und MySpace IM. Die Kontaktliste wird nun immer auf dem Astra-Server gesichert und ist damit überall verfügbar. Eine Gast-Funktion beim Login ermöglicht es, Trillian mit der persönliche Kontakliste auf öffentlichen Computern zu nutzen ohne Spuren zu hinterlassen.
