Install Notes:
1. Install Trillian. (trillian-v4.1.0.14.exe) !Do not launch when install finishes!
2. Place patch (trillian_astra_beta_pro_patcher_4_beta_tester_v5.exe) into installation directory.
3. Open and run the patch. (u can uncheck \"make backup\" if u like)

Other Notes:
If you are new to Trillian Astra you have to register an account. Upon opening Trillian Astra for the first time press Register for a new account and continue through the rest of signup with actual info.

Also, the patcher may show up as a virus/trojan/malware but i assure everyone that it is a false positive. Anyone can check (http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/beff861743b2387ee03d550d693d56e5abed9f1e5c03e0fb1e86eae549ef9ca2-1255153837) for themselves and see that Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, Comodo, F-Secure, Kaspersky, McAfee, Microsoft (Defender/MSE), and PCTools all test clean and i trust those engines plenty.

INSTALLATION NOTES

READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!!!:

It is prefered that you launch Trillian Astra Pro and use it\'s
built in update feature. If you go this route then after update,
close Trillian Astra Pro and copy precracked exe from the \"Crack
Only\" folder to the installed folder of Trillian Astra Pro,
making sure to overwrite the existing file. Only use this method
if v4.0.118 is the latest build!

Method #2:

If you prefer to not use the updater or it will not launch, then
follow these instructions:

Install trillian-v4.0.0.117.exe and close Trillian after auto
launch. Next extract the contents from the archive
40118_Update_Incl_Crack.rar found in the \"Update Incl Crack\"
folder, to your installed Trillian Astra Pro folder, making sure
to overwrite ALL files. Reboot your machine if you have any
files that say they are in use and re-extract. Crack is already
copied over.

If you have already setup your account with a previous version
then your done, if not follow instructions below:

Launch Trillian Astra Pro and Register a new Astra Account. Fill
out required information (real email is needed for confirmation)
and make sure to UNCHECK I have previously purchased Trillian
Pro. Check your email and get confirmation code. Apply code and
now continue to setup your IM accounts. You now how a fully
registered version of Trillian Astra Pro!

Note About Update Methods:

Usually the above steps are not necessary, but because this
update is only available from the updater, it was needed as build
118 doesn\'t exist as a full setup file. Using the update.exe
that is downloaded on its own is not an option as it installs
into the root of your drive.

We have some new ideas with regard to monetizing Trillian???s featureset that we hope will continue to keep our free offering competitive while still leaving us enough room to generate the revenues we need to run the business. Additionally, our full installer has now been updated to 3.1 spec, which means it includes our bundled offerings from our current bundle partners, Ask.com and weather.com. UI-wise, we???ve streamlined the Trillian Cobalt Minimal interface even further, making the overall experience much more ???minimal??? than before, something the space-conscious among you should appreciate. Instant Lookup has finally returned in Build 98, so please let us know if you notice any quirks via Bugzilla. Note to former customers: As of Trillian Astra, our goal is to move as many of our premium features into the ???services??? category as possible, which means when your subscription lapses you will automatically revert to Trillian Basic and lose access to said features. As we???re selling more and more services and less and less features, we???re trying to give as much of the base client away for free as possible but still charge for the things that incur cost on our backend. This plan isn???t fully complete yet and likely won???t be until 4.1 and beyond, and so we???re still charging for a few things you might consider client features, but this is our plan moving forward. This is mainly directed at those of you who are planning to extend for $5 and keep ???Astra Pro??? for life; this will no longer be possible. Minimal extensions ($5) are still allowed, but when your subscription runs out so does your premium access. We???ll be listening closely to beta tester feedback on what features should go into what bucket, so please let us know on the forums what you think.
