If you got an older version of the ''Total Commander POWERPACK'' installed, browse to the program folder and create a backup of the folder ''conf''. -- If you got another version of Total Commander installed anyway (no matter if ''normal'' or Powerpack), the automatic patch routine inside the ''Total Commander POWERPACK v7.0 Beta 3'' in folder 1 should work correctly from itself. Else use folder 2 and read the ''PCL.NFO''. BUT the folder 2 is ''rather'' redundant, because inside folder 3 there are the ''Total Commander v7.04a Final'' and the ''wincmd.key''. -- The following workaround is optimal: First install ''Total Commander POWERPACK v7.0 Beta 3'' from folder 1 (inside the program folder of a already existing version, no matter if Powerpack or not). Then install ''Total Commander v7.04a Final'' from folder 3 inside the same folder, copy the ''wincmd.key'' inside the program folder and that is it. -- Eventuelly it is necessary to copy/move back the backup of the folder ''conf'' to the program folder. ## Solltest Du den ''Total Commander POWERPACK'' bereits in einer aelteren Version haben, gehe in den Programmordner und kopiere den Ordner ''conf'' irgendwo hin als Backup, fuer den Fall der Faelle. -- Solltest Du schon eine Version von Total Commander installiert haben (egal ob ''normal'' oder Powerpack), wird die automatische Patchroutine in ''Total Commander POWERPACK v7.0 Beta 3'' in Ordner 1 von selbst funktionieren. Installation BY HAND: Just copy the files to a directory on your hard disk. Unpack the file install.cab with a cab unpacker (like CABVIEW from Microsoft) to an empty dir, like c:totalcmd . Then move all files with the extension .pif into the Windows directory. They let external packers run in a DOS window instead of full screen. Files in subdir e need to be moved to the dir where totalcmd.exe is. Removal by hand:If you remove the program (totalcmd dir), also delete the files wincmd.ini, wcx_ftp.ini and noclose.pif in your Windows directory!
