Mai rubare gli elefanti a un esperto di arti marziali, le conseguenze potrebbero essere terribili. La storia di The Protector racconta l\'impresa di Kham, giovane combattente alla ricerca dei suoi elefanti, destinati al Re della Thailandia, ma rubati da un gruppo di criminali che, per ottenerli, hanno anche sparato a suo padre. Per recuperare i due esemplari, che Kham tratta come fossero membri di famiglia, il giovane dovrà arrivare fino in Australia.
Impossibile non notare similitudini tra questo The Proctector e Ong-Bak, il primo film a mettere in risalto la stella nascente delle arti marziali Tony Jaa: la tecnica di quest\'ultimo è incredibilmente cinematografica, ed è un peccato che molte sequenze di combattimento, in potenza spettacolari, siano svilite all\'atto pratico da un montaggio a dir poco inadeguato, spesso incapace di focalizzare l\'attenzione sull\' estrema spettacolarità delle acrobazie dell\'atleta/attore.
Il regista, Prachya Pinkaew, pur avendo a disposizione un budget decisamente maggiore rispetto al primo Ong-Bak, ricalca pedissequamente quella che è una formula stantia e vista e rivista mille volte: chiaramente da un film del genere non si può che pretendere che un intrattenimento basato esclusivamente sulla innaturale insensatezza e quasi assurdità dei combattimenti (molto ben coreografati e \"in-credibili\"), però una maggiore sostanza in termini di script, sarebbe stata bene accetta. The Protector rappresenta comunque, nonostante gli evidenti difetti, una valida pellicola d\'intrattenimento, se si ama il genere e se ne accettano i cliché senza troppi problemi: eroe indistruttibile, cattivi da operetta, personaggi di contorno tagliati con l\'accetta, morale semplicistica, \"lo scontro finale\" e via discorrendo. Tony Jaa ha un grande potenziale e può tranquillamente ambire a diventare una conclamata star del cinema \"coi calci volanti\" alla stregua di Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan e Chuck Norris: resta solo da vedere quando tempo impiegherà Hollywood a cooptarlo per le proprie produzioni a otto zeri.

Descripcion del juego: Ben 10 es un juego de plataformas para la DS. En ??l seremos Ben, un ni??o que puede transformarse en monstruo. Podremos elegir en principio a dos monstruos en los que nos podremos transformar. La finalidad es ir superando todos los niveles. El funcionamiento del juego es muy sencillo: para saltar se pulsa B, doble salto 2 veces B; para defendernos X o Y y para rodar la A. Jugaremos en la pantalla superior ya que en la inferior tendremos diversos datos como cuantas vidas nos quedan o una especie de reloj en la que pincharemos para convertir al ni??o en monstruo. Hay un tiempo determinado que puede permanecer as??. Luego vuelve a su aspecto normal y hay que esperar unos segundos hasta poder transformarse de nuevo. En nuestra traves??a habr?? algunos enemigos, los obst??culos a superar no son tanto los enemigos como los del propio escenario del juego. Hay partes m??s dif??ciles de escalar o saltar.
