GALASSIA ZELTA - PIANETA UNO

RAZZA UNOITI

Abitanti del pianeta UNO, con aspetto umanoide dalla testa calva. Il loro pianeta venne devastato prima da una guerra di secessione ed in seguito venne invaso da fasce di anelli che emanavano radiazioni letali, avviluppando l\'intero pianeta al punto da renderlo invivibile. Gli unoiti sopravvissuti dovettero rifugiarsi all\'interno di soli due satelliti costruiti per questa emergenza

QUALCHE ANTICIPAZIONE...

L\'Enterprise viaggia attraverso la \"Galassia Zelta\", quando avvista una strana zona circondata da anelli, l\'esame allo spettroscopio rivela la presenza di un pianeta. Spock scopre inoltre che questi anelli che circondano il pianeta sono composti da rame che potrebbe leggermente compromettere l\'avanzata sul pianeta. Ma con la giusta spinta a quasi velocità luce, la regina della flotta interplanetaria, riesce se pur con qualche difficoltà a superare il campo magnetico, librandosi sopra un maestoso mondo nuovo. Kirk e Spock scendono con una squadra di sbarco sul pianeta per indagare...

Star Trek: The Next Generation (often abbreviated to TNG) is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry as part of the Star Trek franchise. DOVE SIAMO E CHI INCONTRIAMO...

PIANETA METAMORPHIA

FORME LUMINOSE

Queste forme di vita luminose non sono altro che gli originari abitanti

del pianeta Metamorphia. La caduta di un meteorite, secoli addietro, mutò

la composizione chimica dell\'intero pianeta compreso i loro corpi che

vaporizzarono in forme incorporee.

QUALCHE ANTICIPAZIONE...

L\'Enterprise viaggia attraverso \"Galassia Telpha Z\", quando il signor

Spock scopre un pianeta strano che sta cambiando la propria composizione

chimica ogni cinque o dieci minuti. I metalli cambiano in fogliame in un

istante e poi nuovamente! Egli rileva anche la presenza di \"tiantianio\"

sul pianeta. Kirk \"Tiantiano, eh? ne basta un grammo per far navigare un

astronave per un anno..il metallo più prezioso di tutte le galassie\" e

quindi ordina. \"Avanti a tutta forza! Avviciniamoci al pianeta e

osserviamolo telescopicamente \". E mentre la nave passa vicino il pianeta

la vista è davvero incredibile... cascate d\'acqua che emergono

improvvisamente e foreste che crescono dai deserti! Kirk, Spock, McCoy e

un corpo di guardia sbarcano sulla superficie per indagare. \"La presenza

di quel metallo\" Kirk dice,\"è più importante di qualsiaisi rischio! \".

Star Trek: The Next Generation, also known as \"TNG\", is set approximately a century after The Original Series. La fisica di Star Trek è un libro scritto dal fisico americano Lawrence M. Krauss. Nel libro l\'autore analizza con dovizia di particolari e spiegazioni tecniche l\'ipotetica tecnologia dell\'universo di Star Trek e, basandosi sulle più moderne teorie nel campo della fisica, cerca di scoprire quali delle tecnologie della Flotta Stellare sono potenzialmente realizzabili o comunque ipotizzabili e quali invece sono solo frutto della fantasia degli sceneggiatori delle serie televisive.

L\'autore, utilizzando tutta la documentazione ufficiale disponibile su Star Trek, analizza con dovizia di particolari tutte le tecnologie fondamentali di una nave stellare e ne sviscera il funzionamento con un linguaggio semplice e lineare. Nel libro si passa dalla descrizione del teletrasporto alla discussione di quale legge fisica possa permettere il funzionamento dei motori a curvatura (warp). Il libro si sofferma anche sugli errori commessi dalla produzione durante la realizzazione dei telefilm e spesso l\'autore spiega i principi fisici che permettono o vietano il manifestarsi di un particolare fenomeno. L\'episodio riprende i temi già trattati nell\'episodio pilota della serie originaria: Lo zoo di Talos.

Episodio 16 - Guerra santa
L\'anima di Alar è stata trafugata e per evitare una guerra interplanetaria viene costituita una spedizione di cui fanno parte anche Kirk e Spock. Il pianeta su cui è stata nascosta è attivo geologicamente e serve tutta l\'abilità dei membri per recuperare la preziosa anima.

Sarebbe banale e inutile soffermarsi a discutere degli eccellenti effetti visivi curati dall’infallibile Industrial Light & Magic nel parlare dell’undicesima avventura cinematografica dell’equipaggio della nave spaziale più famosa della celluloide, la quale, sotto la regia di J.J. Abrams, torna alle sue origini.
Proprio così, con un notevole cast comprendente anche Bruce Greenwood (\"Il mistero delle pagine perdute\"), Karl Urban (\"Doom\"), Simon Pegg (\"Star system-Se non ci sei non esisti\") e Winona Ryder (\"Edward mani di forbice\"), il creatore della popolare serie televisiva \"Lost\", nonché autore del riuscito \"Mission: impossible 3\", ci porta a conoscenza del giovane James Tiberius Kirk, ragazzo ribelle dell’Iowa che, con le fattezze di Chris Pine (\"Baciati dalla sfortuna\"), viene ammesso a bordo dell’avanzatissima astronave U.S.S. Enterprise, su cui si trova anche l’ingegnoso e determinato Spock, originario del pianeta Vulcano dalle inconfondibili orecchie a punta, interpretato dal televisivo Zachary Quinto (“C.S.I.”).
E, senza esitare, ci trascina ancor prima dei titoli di testa in un tripudio di azione e meraviglie pirotecniche nel raccontare la ricerca per la propria identità attuata dai due protagonisti, alle prese con il malvagio Capitano Nero sotto il cui trucco si nasconde Eric Bana (\"Hulk\"); tra combattimenti e viaggi nel tempo che, non privi di rimandi alla saga \"Star wars\" (la sequenza con creature mostruose sulla neve sembra un chiaro omaggio a \"L’impero colpisce ancora\"), finiscono per coinvolgere anche il mitico Leonard Nimoy, ovviamente nei panni dell’originale Spock, apparso per l’ultima volta in \"Star trek 6: Rotta verso l’ignoto\", del 1991.
Con un taglio generale non troppo distante dal teen-movie fantascientifico, testimoniato anche dalle abbondanti e indispensabili dosi d’ironia; mentre l’ottimo montaggio di Maryann Brandon e Mary Jo Markey (coppia già al servizio del citato \"Mission: impossible 3\") impreziosisce circa 127 minuti di visione che, caratterizzati da un incalzante ritmo narrativo, sembrano strizzare in parte l’occhio al miglior Michael Bay (non a caso, gli sceneggiatori Roberto Orci e Alex Kurtzman sono gli stessi di \"Transformers\"), rivelandosi capaci sia di soddisfare i fan storici del mito nato dalla mente di Gene Roddenberry nel 1966, che di abbracciare il gusto delle nuove giovani generazioni affamate di emozioni.
