After Mary Jane and Peter Parker have confessed their love for one another, we start things off with them happier than ever. Spider-Man is still doing what he does best - saving the world. Not a minute too soon, Peter gets back to normal, but seems to have lost Mary Jane - and what\'s worse is she is held captive by Venom and Sandman - who have seem to have join forces. After realizing this, Peter asks Harry for help, but is declined since Harry has gotten his memory back. As Peter goes to face both villains, Harry is told the truth about his father and decides to help Spider-Man. The final battle comes down to Harry and Spider-Man against Venom and Sandman. \"Quanto a lungo un uomo può combattere l\'oscurità, fino a trovarle dentro di sé?\" con questo ideale incipit si apre il terzo capitolo della saga incentrata sulle avventure del \"tessiragnatele di quartiere\" più famoso dei fumetti: l\'Uomo-Ragno. Per \"Spider-man 3\" ritroviamo un cast artistico e tecnico praticamente immutato, con una trama però molto più articolata e complessa rispetto ai capitoli precedenti.
Nel momento di maggiore grazia nella vita di Peter Parker, alias l\'Uomo-Ragno, dato dalla popolarità sempre crescente e una felicità rinnovata con Mary Jane a cui vuole chiedere di sposarlo, precipita sulla Terra un piccolo quanto minaccioso meteorite da cui fuori esce una sostanza nera. Nel frattempo: Harry è deciso a porre la parola fine alla sua disputa contro Peter, colpevole, secondo lui, di avergli ucciso il padre; e un ladruncolo di quart\'ordine per sfuggire a un inseguimento con la polizia rimane vittima di un esperimento molecolare che lo rende... di sabbia! Pamphlet gotico del perdono e della ricerca di un equilibrio interiore. Il tema del doppio, nel mondo dei fumetti americani, è sempre stato un ritornello che, di tanto in tanto, ricorreva nelle pagine dei vari eroi cartacei. Gli esempi sono innumerevoli: la pazzia latente di Bat-Man; la kryptonite rossa di Superman; la versione grigia e intelligente di Hulk; la follia omicida di Iron Man; e ovviamente anche Spider-Man con il suo vestito nero.
Pare proprio che nessuno sia riuscito a sottrarsi alla logica per cui ad un tratto, nella vita del giovane eroe, si abbatte (proprio come un meteorite dal cielo) il germe della vendetta e del rancore che gli suggeriscono la possibilità di usare i propri poteri per scopi personali. Per fare ciò, Sam Raimi affresca un dipinto di dimensioni colossali, caratterizzato da tonalità gotiche, e puntando in alto, molto più in alto di quanto non abbia fatto per i due capitoli precedenti. \"Spider-Man 3\" mette in scena un balletto formato da cinque trame apparentemente distinte, ma tutte incentrate su vari aspetti di Peter Parker: abbiamo il rapporto tra lui e Mary Jane; l\'arrivo di Gwen Stacy; la storia dell\'Uomo Sabbia; l\'attacco del simbionte; e ovviamente la resa dei conti tra Peter e Harry Osborn.
Tanta carne al fuoco che però, pure se a tratti in affanno, Raimi riesce a non far bruciare nel capiente calderone delle emozioni. Modificando ampiamente (molto più di quanto non avesse fatto in precedenza) la trama originale del fumetto, e giungendo a soluzioni quasi totalmente ex-novo, Sam Raimi stupisce e appassiona confezionando lo spettacolo, nel contempo, con una quantità di effetti speciali (l\'Uomo Sabbia e Venom in azione valgono da soli il prezzo del biglietto) che fanno pensare, ancora una volta, che di meglio non si può fare. Unico appunto negativo, dato proprio dalla quantità di note che Raimi decide di inserire sul suo pentagramma, è la sensazione, a volte, di far risuonare un po\' bruschi (stonati) certi passaggi, o svolte narrative, che paiono sopraggiunti senza il giusto respiro. Tale sensazione negativa, comunque, non mina certamente lo spettacolo: unico, nel suo genere e non, per quantità e qualità.
\"Spider-Man 3\" è un altro gioiello visivo che si aggiunge alla ormai lunga lista di titoli tratti dai fumetti usciti negli ultimi anni. Sorretto saldamente da un cast impegnato, questa volta, ad interpretare parti non più così scontate come nei precedenti capitoli (Tobey Maguire e James Franco bravissimi), e firmato dalla sensibilità visionaria di un Raimi che riesce a rendere lo stesso film un \"vestito nero\", un doppio negativo, del secondo capitolo, la pellicola si rivela essere un vero e proprio film d\'autore. Forse non il migliore della saga (per i motivi già detti sopra), ma probabilmente, dei tre, quello più intimamente \"Raimiano\". Splendido.

Recensione: Spider-Man 2
Non credo che sussistessero dubbi di sorta sull\'arrivo del sequel più annunciato del mondo (e mi sento di dire che avremo anche una Spider-Man 3), ma solo qualche perplessità sulla sua qualità. Beh, fugate ogni nube che potrebbe passarvi per la testa e gettatevi pure a capofitto in questa nuova avventura che non ha nulla da invidiare al primo capitolo.

La vita di Peter (Tobey Maguire) è molto cambiata: vive da solo in uno squallido appartamento, è iscritto all\'università, è molto preso da suo essere Spiderman, ma soprattutto ha rinunciato a Mary Jane (Kristen Dunst).
Tutto questo finché un incontro di \"famiglia\", ovvero lui, la zia May (Rosemary Harris), Mary Jane ed Harry (James Franco), non lo mette di fronte alla realtà di ciò che ha sacrificato per essere il supereroe costantemente additato dal Bugle ed oggetto delle critiche dell\'editore J.J. Jameson (J.K. Simmons).
Il senso di vuoto è quasi insostenibile e porta Peter ad una crisi di coscienza che potrebbe concludersi con la fine dell\'Uomo Ragno, ma la presenza di una nuova minaccia su New York, l\'instabile e pericolosissimo Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), sarà la molla che sosterrà il motto di sempre: \"Da un grande potere derivano grandi responsabilità!\".

Un film supereroistico si muove costantemente su un terreno difficile, ed il rischio di una caduta nel vuoto, anche se si è sostenuti da una robusta ragnatela, è dietro l\'angolo. La scelta di privilegiare l\'introspezione e l\'approfondimento dei personaggi, in questo secondo capitolo, si rivela fondamentale per coinvolgere lo spettatore, ma non dimentichiamo che il merito è di Sam Raimi, un regista, che con pochi abili tocchi riesce a dare la sua inconfondibile impronta.
Le riflessioni negli specchi e nei vetri, quasi fossero finestre sugli stessi personaggi (fantastica la scena dell\'esplosione del macchinario che porta alla \"morte\" di Octavius ed alla nascita di Doc Ock); le piccole attenzioni come la commedia di Mary Jane \"The importance of being Ernest\" (Oscar Wilde) che è costruita sulle doppie identità dei protagonisti e la cura negli effetti speciali - onnipresenti, ma non invasivi - rendono il film qualcosa di più di un action-movie.
Quindi via con i mille volteggi dell\'Uomo Ragno, ottenuti con la Spidey-cam (ovvero una telecamera che viene lanciata giù dai grattacieli), e con i combattimenti sulle pareti dei grattacieli mentre i tentacoli di Octopus, smontano le facciate dei palazzi.
Se proprio dobbiamo fare un appunto, questo nasce dal primo casting: la Dunst è totalmente fuori ruolo, ma tant\'è, si limita più o meno a fare la bambolina urlante.
Che dire per il futuro, speriamo che Raimi rimanga al timone con gli attori che hanno reso perfetto questo meccanismo, perché il rischio è quello di trovarci di fronte ad un secondo Batman, con due capitoli indimenticabili e poi il declino.

\"Thwip\"... fletto i muscoli e sono nel vuoto! Balzando tra un palazzo e l\'altro la figura elastica e flessuosa dello stupefacente Uomo Ragno si immerge in una New York coloratissima e molto \"glamour\". Sam Raimi (\"Darkman\") ci catapulta in un mondo sospeso nel tempo che potrebbe facilmente collocarsi tra gli anni settanta (periodo d\'oro del fumetto ragnesco) ed oggi.
Tobey Mc Guire (\"Pleasantville\") è un perfetto Peter Parker che con la sua recitazione, essenzialmente costituita da una calma calcolata, ci restituisce l\'ingenuo liceale creato da San Lee e Steve Dikto; gli si contrappone un diabolico Willem Dafoe (\"The Bondock Saints\") nei panni del terribile Goblin, un pazzo schizoide che ricorda molto il Joker di \"Batman\", ovvero quando il comprimario quasi eclissa il protagonista.
La storia saccheggia almeno dieci anni di produzione fumettistica, dalla nascita dell\'Uomo Ragno, al suo trasferimento al college ed all\'incontro-scontro con Norman Osborn/Goblin. Nel mezzo l\'amicizia con Harry (James Franco) ed il suo deteriorarsi a causa di una ragazza: la rossa Mary Jane Watson (Kristen Dunst / \"Crazy/Beautiful\"); una bella battaglia sul ponte con tanto di caduta di M.J., giusto per citare la mai dimenticata Gwen Stacy, qui totalmente rimossa per esigenze di copione e la minaccia di Goblin di uccidere tutte le persone care a Peter, giusto per ricordarci sempre il motto Marvel: \"da un grande potere derivano grandi responsabilità\". Alla fine la scelta vincente è stata soprattutto quella di anteporre lo sviluppo dei personaggi all\'azione supereroistica.

Ma veniamo al piatto forte: effetti speciali! Più di cinquecento sequenze ritoccate al computer sia per gestire i movimenti del ragno mentre vola a quaranta piani d\'altezza, sia per i numerosi effetti speciali con esplosioni e combattimenti vari. Il lavoro di Raimi è stato veramente sorprendente, è ovvio che siamo lontani anni luce dalla pellicola degli anni settanta interpretata da Nicholas Hammond (anche se le lenti a specchio della maschera sono molto simili), ma si resta comunque stupiti dalla abilità con cui la parte digitale è stata amalgamata nella pellicola senza risultare invasiva od eccessivamente \"finta\". Se il costume dell\'uomo ragno risulta particolarmente riuscito (non per nulla costa centomila dollari al pezzo) con il suo mix di tessuto e lattice (la ragnatela) senza l\'orrenda muscolatura posticcia che aveva caratterizzato gli altri supereroi, quello di Goblin lascia un pò perplessi, specialmente per la maschera decisamente troppo \"finta\". Nel complesso un ottimo film che scorre via senza mai stancare, ben supportato dalle musiche di un Danny Elfman particolarmente ispirato sulla scia di sonorità meno cupe e più incalzanti.

E per concludere non possiamo tralasciare i numerosi riferimenti ad un classico del genere supereroistico: \"Superman\": la corsa di Peter Parker mentre si slaccia la camicia rivelando il costume, il salvataggio di Mary Jane dal balcone con \"voletto\" abbracciati insieme ed i tentativi di lanciare la ragnatela con numerosi motti tra cui quello di Superman.

La chicca: gli studi sul costume che effettua Peter con lo \"Spiderman\" finale, sono effettivamente stati realizzati da Phil Jimenez il disegnatore della serie \"Wonder Woman\".

Curiosità: la scena finale con Spiderman in cima all\'Empire State Building era stata precedentemente girata in cima alle Torri Gemelle, ma è stata modificata in seguito ai noti eventi dell\'undici settembre, come anche il trailer, l\'unico retaggio di questo resta un riflesso sulle lenti della maschera di Spiderman in cui si vedono le Torri Gemelle.

La frase: \"Non vuole essere famoso... e io lo faccio diventare famigerato!\"

Plot

After Mary Jane and Peter Parker have confessed their love for one another, we start things off with them happier than ever. Spider-Man is still doing what he does best - saving the world. Mary Jane is the star of a great Broadway show. However, through all the silver linings, Harry is still blaming Peter for killing his father. After multiple attempts at trying to reason with him and patch things up, Harry finally confronts Peter and they engage in a brutal battle leaving Harry with temporary amnesia. During this time Peter encounters a symbiote, which attaches itself to his Spidey suit. Struggling to save his relationship with Mary Jane he removes the suit using the bells of the church and the suit finally grabs hold of Eddie Brock. Eddie was currently praying Peter would be killed for all the embarrassment that Peter\'s caused him. Not a minute too soon, Peter gets back to normal, but seems to have lost Mary Jane - and what\'s worse is she is held captive by Venom and Sandman - who have seem to have join forces. After realizing this, Peter asks Harry for help, but is declined since Harry has gotten his memory back. As Peter goes to face both villains, Harry is told the truth about his father and decides to help Spider-Man. The final battle comes down to Harry and Spider-Man against Venom and Sandman. Trama

La vita è meravigliosa per Peter Parker: ama, ricambiato, Mary Jane Watson, è idolatrato dalla popolazione e dalla stampa, nessun cattivo sembra resistergli. Le cose cambiano quando da un meteorite caduto nei pressi di New York, emerge un parassita che si insinua nel suo costume: lo sgradito ospite ha la capacità di scavare nell\'animo dell\'eroe e di fargli mostrare il suo lato peggiore. Intanto, nuovi e vecchi nemici si dimostrano più pericolosi del previsto ed anche Mary Jane, delusa dal comportamento del \"nuovo\" Peter lo abbandona….Riuscirà Spiderman a sconfiggere gli avversari e riconquistare il cuore della sua amata?
Bello, ma con molte riserve: Spider-man 3 è un grande spettacolo, capace di colpire cuore e occhi, ma il perfetto mix di azione, ragione e sentimento ottenuto da Raimi con il secondo episodio, non si è ripetuto. Per tutta la durata della pellicola permane sottesa la sensazione che la sceneggiatura di Alvin Sargent, non riesca a \"stare dietro\" alla quantità di personaggi e situazioni che il film vorrebbe proporre. Due donne e tre villain di spessore sono troppi per un solo film e, malgrado la non irrilevante durata dello stesso (quasi due ore e mezza), alla fine della visione si è colti da un sentimento contrastante: certo, lo spettacolo non manca e alcune sequenze lasciano a bocca aperta e col fiato sospeso, ma si prova anche un vago senso di incompiutezza per quello che poteva essere e non è stato.
Spider-man 3 è senza dubbio uno dei più spettacolari film di ogni tempo: le sequenze che vedono protagonisti Sandman e Venom, quella con la gru impazzita, il lungo combattimento finale, Peter e Mary Jane dolcemente sdraiati su una ragnatela, sono momenti di grande intensità emotiva e indubbio fascino visivo. Purtroppo però Raimi, forse stressato dalla responsabilità di dirigere il film più costoso di tutti i tempi (oltre 250 milioni di dollari) pasticcia un po\' con script e personaggi e il risultato finale è inaspettatamente discontinuo.
All\'andamento altalenante del film contribuisce inoltre una prestazione del cast altrettanto incerta, che se da un lato vede Kirsten Dunst, diva inarrivabile e brava a incarnare e rappresentare le ansie della fidanzata insoddisfatta, dall\'altro mostra un Tobey Maguire incredibilmente monocorde e inespressivo, un totem catatonico che affronta con lo stesso piglio le situazioni drammatiche e quelle più leggere (che scadono spesso nel ridicolo involontario). Spider-man 3 affastella troppi personaggi che, fatalmente, finiscono per aver ben poco spazio e senz\'altro meno di quello che meriterebbero: fondamentale nel fumetto, Gwen Stacy, è qui per esempio ridotta a mera macchietta di contorno. La sensazione che Raimi abbia sprecato un assist vincente per chiudere alla grande una trilogia che, in ogni caso, avrà un posto di rilievo nella storia del cinema, c\'è tutta. Una stella in più per il grande spettacolo degli effetti speciali.

Donna Ragno (Spider-Woman) è una serie a cartoni animati prodotta dalla DePatie-Freleng Enterprises e dai Marvel Studios nel 1979, composta da sedici episodi. La serie è liberamente tratta dal fumetto della Marvel Comics dedicato alla donna ragno.

Questo cartone è stato adattato due volte, con un primo doppiaggio avvenuto negli anni \'80, e uno successivo negli anni 2000, in occasione della replica Rai.
