- Trama -

Per miracolo sopravvissuta all\'incidente di un laboratorio a Raccoon City, Alice unisce le forze con altri sopravvissuti, come Jill Valentine e Carlos Oliviera, per eliminare una mostruosa creatura chiamata Nemesis che si fermerà solo quando non ci sarà più nessuno in vita.

Se è vero che il cinema ha più volte tradito la letteratura, possiamo dire che non fa altrettanto con i videogame. Questo secondo capitolo di Resident Evil ha molto del gioco, non solo l\'atmosfera, ma citazione ed inquadrature che tutti i fans della saga non faticherYears a riconoscere.
Questa volta accanto ad Alice (Milla Jovovich / Il quinto elemento) troviamo anche Jill Valentie (Sienna Guillory / The time machine) una sorta di Lara Croft in versione poliziotto.

Avevamo lasciato l\'Alveare della Umbrella Corporation infestato dai non-morti (nel film si fa una maniacale attenzione a non usare mail la parola zombie) con pochi sopravvissuti.
Ora i dirigenti della multinazionale continuano con i loro esperimenti, ma perdono il controllo del virus \"T\" che, liberato, minaccia la città di Raccoon City, costruita esattamente sopra il laboratorio.
L\'evacuazione dei civili non può più essere effettuata, quindi non restano che il contenimento dell\'epidemia e la \"sanificazione\" del sito con un ordigno nucleare tattico. Nel frattempo resta ampio spazio per la sperimentazione e vengono così liberati i due più promettenti esperimenti della Umbrella:
Nemesis un uomo mutato e bioingegnerizzato per diventare una fenomenale macchina di distruzione con tanto di armamento ad alto potenziale ed Alice, che ha a sua volta subito degli interventi occulti con il virus \"T\".
Alice ed alcuni superstiti dovrYears cercare di fuggire dalla città prima che la bomba esploda destreggiandosi tra zombie, trappole e la sicurezza della Umbrella.

Storia senza pretese condita da begli \"effettacci\" sotto la guida di Alexander Witt, rodato direttore della fotografia di film d\'azione, dove le citazioni D.O.C. la fYears da padrone. Dall\'Alba dei morti viventi di romeriana memoria, fino a action di serie B alla Commando passando per 28 giorni dopo. Le eroine, come da programma, sono costantemente mezze nude (si sa più centimetri di pelle si vedono, più biglietti si vendono) e gli \"action machos\" sono sufficientemente pompati ed armati.
Onesto e vedibile, gli va riconosciuta l\'onestà di non voler apparire ciò che non è.
