- Trama -

Dopo un\'apertura all\'insegna dello stormir d\'ali d\'uccello, degna del miglior John Woo, le uniche altre creature in grado di librarsi nel cielo del 2020 sono i draghi; enormi, crudeli, terrificanti, ma soprattutto sputafuoco, come insegna da sempre la letteratura fantasy. Questi sono ormai la razza dominante su una terra in perfetto stile dopobomba.
Quinn (Christian Bale / \"American Psycho\") è l\'uomo che ha visto sorgere l\'orrore che ormai popola gli incubi di ogni essere. Quando era ancora un ragazzo il \"re\" dei draghi è sbucato dalle viscere di Londra (quindi S. Giorgio non l\'aveva poi ucciso...) e dopo aver \"tostato\" gli operai della metro, ha pensato bene di artigliare a morte la madre di Quinn.
Venti anni dopo, con i draghi ormai padroni della Terra, Quinn si trova a capo di una delle pochissime comunità umane superstiti; la speranza di sopravvivere è ridotta al lumicino, figuriamoci quella di poter prevalere.
Dello stesso avviso non sembra essere Van Zan (Matthew McConaughey / \"U 571\") che con un manipolo di volontari (guarda caso americani) può vantare più di duecento draghi uccisi. Per lui un solo imperativo: distruggere per sempre la terribile genia, e per farlo bisogna raggiungere Londra.
