It is a remake and update of Counter-Strike 1.6, which originally started as a modification of Half-Life, a single-player first person shooter game. As in the original version, Counter-Strike: Source games offer a team of Counter-terrorists against a team of Terrorists in a series of rounds. Each round is won by either completing a mission (such as detonating a bomb or rescuing hostages) or by eliminating all members of the opposing team. This is now your job. In a game somewhat similar to the CSI series or the Law & Order series, you must put together the evidence in order to put away the perpetrator for good. Some of these cases are very old (20 years old or more), while some are only about a year old. Unlike similar games, your role is mostly limited to interviewing suspects and examining evidence that is already collected. The reason for this is that most the crime scenes are already many years old. In some instances, you will be able to collect some evidence on your own, but it is limited. Work through 6 cases as well as a downloadable 7th case. See if you can solve the cases.
