Finché, alla festa aziendale per il Natale, lei cerca di fare l'amore con lui nella toilette degli uomini. Derek si ritrae ma, da quel momento, avrà inizio un escalation di interventi da parte di Lisa convinta di poterlo avere per sé. Derek tiene il tutto segreto. Ma potrà lasciare Sharon all'oscuro per sempre? Lo stalking è un tema molto dibattuto recentemente anche alle nostre latitudini. Se ne tratta però quasi sempre dalla prospettiva femminile che vede l'uomo come molestatore più o meno invadente. In questo film invece la situazione si inverte. Peccato però che il pensiero torni ad Attrazione fatale. Non tanto per il contesto (là il protagonista maschile era di fatto inizialmente interessato all'avventura) quanto piuttosto per lo spessore che la sceneggiatura e l'interpretazione di Glenn Close avevano attribuito alla protagonista. Tutto ciò qui non accade e Ali Harter non ha la possibilità di dimostrarci se avrebbe potuto dare di più. Neppure sul piano della sensualità perché anche in questo ambito c'è un freno a mano tirato. Chi invece non lascia alcun dubbio è Beyonce Knowles che affronta il ruolo della moglie bella e brava senza alcun guizzo se non nel finale molto 'fisico'.
