Alice nel paese delle meraviglie è un film di animazione prodotto da Walt Disney nel 1951, diretto dai registi Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson e Hamilton Luske. Il film è un adattamento dei libri di Le avventure di Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie e Attraverso lo specchio e quel che Alice vi trovò di Lewis Carroll. È considerato il 13° classico Disney secondo il canone ufficiale.

TRAMA(Italiano)

Il film d\'animazione che Walt Disney presentò nel 1951 era un suo sogno vecchio di molti anni. L\'idea di realizzare qualcosa sul personaggio di Lewis Carrol era in Disney fin dai tempi in cui muoveva i suoi primi passi nel mondo dell\'animazione. La serie di \"Alice in Cartoonland\" ne è la prova.
Fu grazie a quella idea che Walt ottenne un contratto con la Universal di Margareth Winkler (vedi \"La Vita di Walt\").

Anni dopo, quando la vulcanica mente dell\'uomo dei sogni concepì il concetto di lungometraggio di animazione, tra i vari soggetti che vagliò il più quotato fu per diverso tempo proprio \"Alice nel paese delle meraviglie\" di Carrol, solo la realizzazione di un film live-action da parte della \"Commonwealth Pictures\" nel 1931 fermò l\'idea nascente di Disney. Nel 1933 l\'embrione di una nuova \"Alice\", addirittura in scrittura mista, finì nel nulla perché la Paramount annunciò l\'uscita di un film con cast straordinario sullo stesso soggetto.

Era destino che il primo lungometraggio Disney non fosse basato su Lewis Carrol.
Disney regalò al mondo Biancaneve e i Sette Nani, ma di tanto in tanto Alice gli tornava in mente.

Quattordici anni dopo Biancaneve, finalmente nel regno di Disney arrivò anche Alice.

La storia è alquanto semplice, e segue sostanzialmente i romanzi di Carrol, la forza di questo film è nei personaggi strampalati e nel gusto per la follìa. Carrol descrive un mondo di pazzi che appare divertente ma che, di fatto, non può funzionare proprio per la mancanza di logica. Nel film questo messaggio risulta un po\' sfocato ma alcuni dei personaggi che compaiono sono tanto azzeccati da elevare l\'intera pellicola al rango di \"Classico Disney\".

Il racconto è quello della ragazzina Alice che si annoia quando le si leggono libri o le si chiede di far di conto; secondo lei il mondo ideale è quello fatto di animali che parlano e vivono in casette, di fiori con cui discutere, di cose irrazionali senza bisogno di spiegazione alcuna.
Un giorno, durante una lezione all\'aperto, Alice si assopisce e sogna il Bianconiglio, un coniglio in panciotto e con l\'orologio, che si preoccupa per il ritardo. Alice lo segue e si ritrova nel mondo che desidera. Tutto è strano e divertente, ma tutto è illogico e incomprensibile. Basta mangiare un biscotto per diventare grandi, ma grandi davvero, oppure piccoli, appena visibili.

Alice si ritrova a navigare in una bottiglia, poi corre la \"Maratonda\" seguendo il canto del Capitan Libeccio. In seguito, la ragazzina, si perde nel bosco. Qui incontra Pinco e Panco che le raccontano una storia che lei non vuol sentire e quando rivela di cercare la sua strada, arriva lo Stregatto a farle presente che nessuna strada è la sua, perché tutte le strade appartengono alla Regina di Cuori. Alice decide di recarsi dalla sovrana per domandarle aiuto, nonostante lo Stregatto la sconsigli definendola una pazza, ma dato che in quel mondo un po\' pazzi lo sono tutti, che differenza può fare?

Il viaggio è lungo e pieno di incontri. Una musica di festa attira la ragazzina fino ad un giardino dove lo stralunato Cappellaio Matto e il non meno curioso Leprotto Bisestile stanno festeggiando allegramente un non compleanno, ricorrenza che non celebra nulla e serve solo a mangiare torte e a bere the. D\'altra parte perché aspettare il compleanno che arriva una sola volta ogni anno per festeggiare? Molto meglio fare festa ad ogni non compleanno! Logico, no?

Esilarante la sequenza del the che viene continuamente offerto ad Alice la quale però non riesce neppure ad assaggiarlo. Una sequela di gag una più squinternata dell\'altra che crea, forse, il più riuscito momento del film.

Ancora musica quando la ragazzina giunge in un giardino fiorito dove i fiori stessi intonano canti melodiosi, ma quando si cerca di capire a quale specie di pianta appartenga Alice (!), l\'idea che si tratti di una pianta selvatica fa sì che la piccola venga cacciata.
Dopo una bella chiacchierata con il Brucaliffo, Alice riprende il suo percorso verso la dimora della regina.
Quando ci arriva scopre delle carte da gioco animate tutte prese nell\'opera di riverniciatura delle rose che, da bianche che sono, devono diventare rosse, pena la decapitazione immediata. Di lì a poco la Regina arriva e scopre il colore fasullo. Sentenza subitanea: a morte i colpevoli!
Poi la regina incontra Alice e la invita ad una partita di croquet, giocata con dei buffi fenicotteri utilizzati a mo\' di mazze. Grazie ad un abile gioco.... di gruppo, la Regina vince, ma il colpevole di un mancato punto viene decapitato.
La riapparizione dello Stregatto porta un piccolo dramma: la regina cade gambe all\'aria e qualcuno deve essere decapitato per l\'affronto. La prescelta è Alice. Un veloce (e naturalmente folle) processo di forma accompagna la ragazzina incontro al suo destino. Lei fugge e arriva a capire che si tratta di un sogno, uno strano, confuso, caotico e pericoloso sogno. La sola salvezza sta nel risveglio e nel ritorno alla realtà.

Si tratta di un film curioso nel mondo della zio Walt. Un numero enorme di personaggi che sfilano durante la visione e nessuno, in fondo, con una vera storia da raccontare o di cui far parte.
Alla sua uscita non incassò quanto si sperava (destino comune a molte opere Disney), per la sua struttura che lo rende frammentario e quasi privo di trama. La follìa elevata a protagonista non riesce sempre ad essere convincente e, qui, appare come una dilatazione dell\'episodio di Dumbo in cui l\'elefantino beve dello champagne e vede gli elefanti rosa. In quell\'occasione l\'assurdo e il sorprendente reggono benone, ma un film intero basato su questo non risulta coinvolgente come altri prodotti Disney.

Il personaggio di Alice non ha la forza innata comune alla eroine disneyane, la loro credibilità, la loro vita.
Un film quindi che resta in secondo piano rispetto alle celebri fiabe o ai film più movimentati.
Alla fine degli anni \'60, tuttavia, una grande rivalutazione del prodotto si ebbe grazie ai \"figli dei fiori\", che nelle gag, nel ritmo e proprio nel folle che impregna il film, trovarono il loro mondo ideale.
In seguito il film si è attestato come opera di secondo piano nella filmografia disneyana, ma solo, e questo va detto, perchè da Disney ci si aspetta sempre il meglio. (Fonte: disneyano.altervista.org)

Cars Lightning McQueen is een ambitieuze nieuweling in de racewereld die onderweg is naar de finale van de Pistons Cup in California. Wanneer hij onverwachts een omweg moet maken door het slaperige Route 66 stadje: Radiator Springs, ontdekt hij dat het leven niet om de finishlijn gaat maar om de reis. Onderweg leert hij ongewone karakters kennen; Sally, een chique Porsche uit 2002, Doc Hudson (een Hudson Hornet uit 1951 met een mysterieus verleden) en Mater, een roestige maar betrouwbare sleepwagen. Zij helpen Lighting McQueen te realiseren dat er belangrijkere dingen in het leven zijn dan prijzen, reputatie, roem en sponsors. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Over the hedge De ondeugende en mondige wasbeer R.J. (Willis) komt terecht in een bos bij andere dieren die leven onder ouderwetse omstandigheden.
