Full Moon Friday Open Lines

During Open Lines, George offered a special 'lost' line for callers who have had things vanish under perplexing circumstances. Josh from Iowa City said a buddy dropped a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup under the car, searched but could not find it beneath the vehicle. Susie in Dayton, Ohio told George that her prescription medication mysteriously disappeared from the passenger seat of her car. Doug recalled losing an expensive leather jacket at a restaurant, even though it was folded and next to him in a booth there.

George also provided an 'awake' hotline for people who've had the misfortune and terror of being aware during a surgery. Other 'Full Moon Friday' callers included Mary from Pennsylvania, who recalled encountering (and speaking telepathically with) gray aliens in a grocery store, and a man named Sebastian, who claimed to be an human-animal hybrid extraterrestrial from the Wopat System. Sebastian told George he looks similar to a red fox and has a starship orbiting the planet.

In the last hour, George played a clip from one of Art Bell's past discussions with the late Father Malachi Martin.

Hidden Archeology & Cosmic Hierachy

Author and researcher Michael Cremo returned to discuss 'forbidden archeology,' ancient Sanskrit knowledge, and cosmic hierarchy. He shared evidence that humans existed on this planet millions of years ago. Examples included, a human skeleton found in Illinois under a thick layer of unbroken slate rock-- which was estimated to be around 300 million years old. And a probable shoe print (the 'Meister print') discovered in Antelope Spring, Utah in slate rock that also contained a trilobite fossil, dated back to 500 million years ago.

It's written in the ancient Sanskrit texts known as the Vedas, that human civilizations have come and gone many times in the history of the Earth. After each time, the planet had to be repopulated and Cremo speculated that higher beings might have reseeded the planet with life forms. The Vedas also described 'vimanas'-- different types of spacecraft that could travel between planets, subtle dimensions, and into pure consciousness.

Cremo believes we are part of a multidimensional cosmos in which ordinary matter, subtle planes, and pure consciousness co-exist and are inhabited by beings in each of the different realms. Spirit communications, apparitions, UFOs, and possession are evidence of this, he said. He also posited that humankind has devolved from the realm of pure consciousness and "become covered with the lower energies of mind and matter."

Planet X and Sumerian Tales

Researchers Jason Martell and Erik Poltorak (Parker) shared their expertise in Sumerian history, ET visitations and modern and ancient reports of Planet X. Appearing in the 2nd hour, Martell noted the recent findings of Japanese astronomers at Kobe University who have posited that an Earth-sized 'Planet X' could be moving through our solar system on a highly elliptical orbit. Martell also discussed the 'Nemesis' theory which suggests that a Planet X orbits a second sun (a failed star or Brown dwarf) and may dislodge comets and send them towards Earth.

The ancient Sumerians knew about Planet X and described it as a "red glowing planet," whose inhabitants came to Earth to mine gold to repair their dwindling atmosphere, said Martell, summarizing the work of Zecharia Sitchin. The webmaster of Sitchin's website, Erik Poltorak joined the show in the 3rd hour. He discussed stories from ancient Sumerian tablets, which were copied, borrowed, and reinterpreted across cultures, including being used in the Bible. For instance, the Sumerians described "Adamu" as the first man, created by Enki (a ruler from Nibiru or Planet X).

There is evidence that our solar system has been bombarded by Nibiru's many passages through it, Poltarak stated. He and Martell took calls from listeners during the last hour.

'Disappearance' Stories

During Open Lines, George offered a special 'disappearance' line for callers who have seen things that have later vanished. Kristine in Cleveland recalled a haunted tour through Mansfield's Reformatory, where she thought she saw an "actor in a black cape" disappear into a cell in the solitary confinement area. Kristine believes the figure may have been the spirit of a murdered guard.

Haley from Hawaii said she worked at a haunted camp on the island of O'ahu. She claims to have seen a little boy who vanished when she tried to speak with him. She said another group at the same camp spent the night in a house "crowded with ghosts." Haley also talked about the time she met the 'Coconut Man,' a recluse who lived off the land and wore only a "little coconut covering his private parts."

Another caller told George that he saw his deceased mother-in-law in his kitchen while he was making a late night snack. She held up her left thumb and all five fingers on her right hand, and the next day the caller said he won $500 in a lottery. A year or so later, the caller saw his mother-in-law's spirit once more, and she again held up her thumb and five fingers. The next day, the caller said he won another $500 lottery.

In the last hour, George played an excerpt from Art Bell's 1997 interview with Al Bielek, who shared his personal experiences with the Phildephia Experiment.

Earth: Extinctions & Climate

Appearing during the first three hours, Prof. Peter Ward, the author of Under a Green Sky, discussed his latest work on hydrogen sulfide extinctions, and how we are creating the circumstances for extinctions in the future. His research has connected past mass extinctions and global warming. Greenhouse gases and the melting of the ice-caps could create a dangerous situation where the ocean currents stop circulating. The stagnation of the oceans' waters would lead to the thriving of a type of bacteria that produces hydrogen sulfide. Killing off life in the ocean and sending toxic gases into the atmosphere, hydrogen sulfide could actually turn the sky green, he noted.

The coast off of Namibia is a hydrogen sulfide "hot spot" and the eruptions can be seen in this NASA satellite photo. Curiously, it has been found that hydrogen sulfide can have startling medical benefits, putting injured people into a kind of suspended animation until they can be treated. For more on hydrogen sulfide, see this Wired interview with Ward.

He also talked about how the melting of ice and subsequent rise of sea levels will flood coastal cities. There'll be enormous costs associated with moving cities and infrastructure to inland locations, and the influx of saltwater could wipe out agriculture, he warned.

Water, Vaccines & Pharmaceuticals

Dr. Len Horowitz spoke about vaccine toxicity, the pharmaceutical industry, and bioterrorism, and also touched on the healing properties of water. The "American medical cult?ure" has created an "Rx-Generation" where it's considered normal to take a pill for every ill, and then more medications to treat the side effects brought on the first prescriptions, he commented. Portions of his documentary In Lies We Trust, which examines the "military-medical-petrochemical-pharmaceutical profiteers," are available for free viewing on YouTube.

Authorities recently conceded there was a connection between vaccines and autism in a case involving a young girl. Horowitz said that newborns are needlessly injected with the Hepatitis B vaccine and exposed to heavy metal toxicities and amino acid poisons. Vaccines make children more susceptible to auto-immune diseases and cancer, he argued.

Following up on Dr. Masaru Emoto's groundbreaking work on water, Horowitz said that water is alive and has consciousness-- the image of an embryo and umbilical cord was seen in a water molecule, he noted. Polluted water loses its sacred geometrical structure, but water that still has its energy can be used to heal, he continued. In particular, he recommended the product Oxysilver as an immunity-building alternative to vaccines.

Canadian UFO Sightings
Writer and pilot Don Ledger discussed Canadian UFO sightings including the Shag Harbour Incident of 1967. In his book Maritime UFO Files, he documents 135 of the best UFO cases from the east coast of Canada dating as far back as 1796. The 1796 episode took place in Nova Scotia where three witnesses reported seeing 15 ships in a line traveling across the sky.

In the Bell Isle Incident which took place in Newfoundland in 1978, Ledger said that a flash of blue light hit a farm, burning through the electrical circuitry of the farm house. Whether it was caused by a UFO or some type of military weapons testing remained undetermined. The Shag Harbour Incident which took place in Nova Scotia, involved a craft crashing into the waters of the Harbour. Divers later described "creatures" moving between two oval-shaped objects underwater, he detailed.

Ledger spoke about his work with NARCAP (National Aviation Reporting Center for Anomalous Phenomena) and how pilots and air traffic controllers are often reluctant to go on record with what they've seen as it could hurt their careers. He also commented on the recent sightings in Stephenville, Texas-- he has an article on that subject in the current issue of FATE Magazine.

Trilogy Hotline Night

During Open Lines, George offered a different special topic line each hour. A caller to the 'I've got a secret' hotline confessed to stabbing one of two attackers who tried to rob him at knife-point in a restroom at a dance club in Tijuana, Mexico. The caller said he was able to get a knife away from one of his assailants and stab him in the arm pit before fleeing the scene. According to the caller, this is a fatal wound and his attacker likely bled to death within a few minutes of removing the knife.

A caller to the 'other dimensions' hotline shared details of her friend's passing. The caller claims to have witnessed her dying friend's spirit leave her body, arise from the bed and perform a series of pirouettes (ballet turns) around the bedroom. A caller to the 'whistleblower' line talked about the recent ricin incident in Las Vegas. The caller said his best friend, who works at a hotel in the city, told him that police found two tickets to a Vegas NASCAR race along with the ricin. There may have been plans to use the deadly poison at the race, the caller speculated.

Frequent guest and consummate storyteller, Lionel Fanthorpe phoned into the show to provide an update on his health. Fanthorpe said he experienced severe abdominal pain and thought it could be a problem with his gall bladder. After a consultation with his physician, Fanthorpe said his pain miraculously disappeared. In the last half hour, George played a classic excerpt from one of Art Bell's earlier programs, featuring a discussion with Mel Waters about the 'bottomless' hole he discovered on his property.

Lizard Man, Reptoids, & Mutilations

'Cryptohunter' John Rhodes reported on recent and past Lizard Man accounts, Reptoids, and connections between MRSA and animal mutilations. A new South Carolina case bore similarities to a 1988 'Lizard Man' incident in which a car was vandalized with teeth marks chewing into the hood of a vehicle, along with reports of a man-lizard creature being seen in the area. Joining the program for a segment, Sheriff Liston Truesdale (now retired) recounted the witness testimony of a teenager in Bishopville, South Carolina, who in June of 1988, encountered a seven foot tall creature with red glowing eyes that chased after his truck.

Such descriptions are reminiscent of the reports about Reptoids-- 7-8 ft. tall humanoids with reptile-like features such as three-fingered claws, scales, and vertical-slit pupils, Rhodes noted. He suggested that these beings might live in caves or deep inside the planet in "subcities," and could possibly have the ability to move between dimensions.

He spoke about an unusual animal mutilation case in Montana in 2007, where two calves were found inside identical flattened circles, one mile apart. Rhodes also speculated that animal mutilations may be related to pig fecal waste which can carry MRSA infections into the air and water table. A group (such as the Reptoids) could be testing the animals for pathogens, he said, and then calling attention to the potential biological disaster by leaving their bodies displayed.

OBEs: The Benefits of Astral Travel

Speaker and author William Buhlman discussed the latest research on out-of-body experiences (OBEs). During these experiences a person moves into an astral realm-- a dimension of existence apart from the physical world. There are many benefits that can be gained during OBEs. You become an explorer who can ascertain direct knowledge about one's existence rather than just adhering to a belief system, he explained.

During sleep, people actual separate from their bodies, if only a few inches, Buhlman pointed out, adding that one purpose of sleep may be to recharge the body by accessing the etheric plane. He shared a technique for inducing OBEs: Get up after about 4 hours of sleep, and lie down on a couch instead of your bed. Then, repeat the affirmation "now I'm out of my body" and hold onto that thought.

People have reported having communications with deceased loved ones and family pets during astral travels. But, the natural evolution in an OBE is to slowly lose human form and become a globe of consciousness with 360 degree views, he revealed. A lot of concepts surrounding OBEs are false, such as you can lose connection to your physical body if you're out too long, or that negative entities can enter your body while you're astral traveling, he detailed.

Dire Web Bot Predictions

George Ure and his colleague 'Cliff' shared their web bot predictions about America and global events. Their method captures changes in language patterns within Internet discussions. This aggregated data is then processed with software to determine various keywords, which they interpret in a predictive fashion. Emotional events from the future can subconsciously imprint into the present and trickle into language, Cliff further explained.

Here are some of their predictions for the remainder of 2008 (and beyond):

# In late March, look for massive employment to take hold.
# During the summer, a backlash against the US government could involve a call to hold the elections early.
# As the housing industry continues its collapse, there could be a seizure or lock-up of the ability to transfer property.
# A "fuzzy revolution" could involve squatters or collectives moving into empty or foreclosed homes.
# In October, there'll be a major stock market crash or a climate event that has a disastrous effect on the economy.
# There could be a major bank failure, possibly involving a foreign bailout that is reneged upon.
# A "global coastal event" within the next five years will involve a rise in sea levels that will knock out oil refineries.
# There will be an untimely demise for millions by 2012, brought upon by some combination of pandemics, economic collapse, breakdown of health care and unknown energies from space.

San Augustin UFO Crash

UFO Historian Art Campbell shared details about a UFO crash on the Plains of San Augustin, New Mexico which reportedly occurred the same time as the Roswell Incident in July 1947. Both episodes were likely due to the same air collision, he said, noting that San Augustin is 165 miles west of Roswell. The discoverer of the crashed object in San Augustin was an engineer named Barney Barnett-- while at the site, he ran into an archeological team that later denied they were there, Campbell recounted.

Barnett described seeing a disc-shaped craft that was 25-30 ft. in diameter, which was split on the side. Dislodged from the vehicle, were 3-4 bodies. In what was perhaps the first description of the "greys," he described seeing hairless 3?-4 ft. beings in gray jumpsuits with oddly set eyes. Barnett thought initially they might be connected with the atomic energy field before realizing they were "not of this Earth."

While Campbell was investigating the site beginning in 1994, he collected some interesting evidence, including a biomorphic object he dubbed the artifact which he was told was made out of high-density polyethylene. He also found curious tiny shoe soles which might have been worn by the ETs.

Pre-Death Encounters

Known for his compassionate care of hundreds of terminally-ill patients, Dr. John Lerma presented his research into hospice patients' pre-death experiences. Such patients shared similarities in their experiences, typically seeing a "light entity" or human-appearing spirit being about four weeks before their passing. Subsequently, the being appears to them with increasing frequency, preparing them for their death, and reviewing life lessons, he recounted.

A PET scan of a patient undergoing a brief "hallucinatory" episode showed that many different areas of their brain were lit up, Lerma reported. He told of working with Matthew, a blind nine-year-old with a terminal illness. Matthew described communing with three different angels who were so tall, it was as though they were from another dimension.

One of Dr. Lerma's patients was a man who was a friend of rancher Mac Brazel of Roswell fame. In a sort of deathbed confession to Lerma, he said Brazel showed him the crash debris in 1947 and in it, he saw a swastika, which suggested that one of the crashed discs was designed by German scientists, imported to the US after the war. The scientists had supposedly picked up the technology from ETs, and used it earlier to build 'foo fighters.' Lerma also described attempting to surgically remove an 'alien implant' from Whitley Strieber's ear. The object moved away from the tweezers, and was difficult to extract in its entirety. A part that was removed was studied by pathologists and determined to be a non-natural cellulose structure.

Neo-Darwinism & Academic Freedom

Film Producer of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed (view movie trailers), Mark Mathis discussed his research into how the academic world treats university scientists, professors, and researchers who question the theory of neo-Darwinism.

According to Mathis, there has been a systematic exclusion of any origin theory which proposes the idea that there is design in the universe that may be better explained by an intelligence source, rather than from random processes. As an example, he talked about the recent controversy involving Guillermo Gonzalez, astronomer and author of The Privileged Planet. Mathis said Gonzalez, the author of 68 peer-reviewed papers, was denied tenure at Iowa State University because of his views on intelligent design.

Mathis cited other cases of academic discrimination, including one involving Baylor University's Robert Marks, who was told to shut down a website he created which challenged Darwinian evolution. Mathis also discussed Richard Sternberg, who came under fire for publishing a paper by intelligent design advocate Stephen Meyer in Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington.
