which is totaly out of place for this game and wasts 1GB more space, but
this time they also rushed their (realy ugly looking) crack and removed the
\"delay import\" directory entry, which some of you allready noticed, loads the
PhysX subsystem. We are realy frightened what happend with our honored friends
in Reloaded! ... .. and by the way the game exe isn\'t the same as your
try media one. Next time better proof your words...

Ai loro occhi, gli americani sono le prede predilette, capaci di rendere i rituali veramente potenti, grazie alle loro grida di terrore, durante l\'agonia che li porterà dritti alla morte. Quando la polizia si rifiuterà di intervenire, i ragazzi capiranno di essere in trappola; nessuno li aiuterà, a parte un ex poliziotto. Ma potrebbe essere già troppo tardi per tutti loro... il viaggio verso l\'inferno é già iniziato.[/b]

[color=#ff3100]Non che \"Hostel\" di Eli Roth fosse il massimo dell’originalità, ma quando un film di successo lancia un genere, le innumerevoli imitazioni sono inevitabili.
Nell’assistere all’opera seconda di Zev Berman (la prima, del 2000, fu il dramma sentimentale \"Briar patch\"), infatti, a quanto pare ispirata ad episodi realmente accaduti ed incentrata sul solito trio di studenti che, in vacanza in Messico alla ricerca di donne da sedurre e sballo da allucinogeni, finisce tra le grinfie dei sanguinari componenti di una setta dedita a sacrifici umani, non si può fare a meno di ripensare alla pellicola di Roth, anche se la predilezione per gli americani quali vittime da parte dei cattivi di turno finisce per far accostare maggiormente il prodotto a \"Turistas\" di John Stockwell.
Al di là di queste piccole somiglianze, però, la calda ambientazione messicana da moderno western fornisce al film di Berman un look generale che gli permette di distaccarsi sia dalle scenografie europee di quello di Roth che dai verdi paesaggi brasiliani di quello di Stockwell, mentre lo Sean Astin della trilogia \"Il Signore degli Anelli\", nei panni di uno dei pericolosi folli, risulta essere l’unico nome noto all’interno di un cast di illustri sconosciuti tra i quali possiamo al massimo citare Rider Strong, protagonista nel 2002 di \"Cabin fever\", guarda caso esordio dietro la macchina da presa proprio per l’autore di \"Hostel\".
Ciò che ne viene fuori, pur senza spingere a gridare al capolavoro, appare nelle vesti di elaborato di celluloide che, più vicino al dramma thriller che all’horror puro, testimonia le buone doti del regista, capace di non far annoiare mai lo spettatore, dal lungo prologo immediatamente all’insegna della cruda violenza all’ultima parte da follia splatter alla \"Non aprite quella porta\", passando per un trancio centrale costruito su ritmi di narrazione piuttosto lenti, ma decisamente coinvolgenti. E riuscire a gestirli a dovere per oltre un’ora e quaranta di pellicola non è impresa da tutti.
