Players may climb into the cockpit to pilot Snoopy’s famous Sopwith Camel and other unique aircraft in perilous dogfights, high-speed air races and heart-pounding missions deep behind enemy lines. As players barnstorm across six massive, free-roaming play fields in search of clues for the location of the Red Baron’s secret hideout, players can upgrade their aircraft with a collection of 25 unique, comical weapons and other unlockable gadgets, including the player-guided Woodstock missile. Classic Peanuts characters including Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Marcie and Sally will aid Snoopy on his mission, providing him with hints and tips to track down the despicable Red Baron.

A nap atop his doghouse transports Snoopy to his fanciful dreams of the French countryside, where he once again imagines himself as the virtuoso flying ace on a gallant quest to defend the skies from the evil Red Baron. Soaring through the clouds in Snoopy’s famous Sopwith Camel bi-plane, players find themselves engaged in sky-high dogfights, exhilarating air races and daring missions behind enemy lines. Battle the Baron’s minions across Snoopy’s imagined WWI France in an engrossing single-player adventure, then engage your friends in multiplayer dogfighting and minigames!

Players control Snoopy as he flies an assortment of missions in his trusty Sopwith Camel. Missions occur in numerous “theaters” that are slowly unlocked as you progress through the game. In addition to mission objectives, each “theater” has a number bonus goals that you can choose to accomplish at your leisure. These generally involve shooting down colored balloons and locating hidden letters.

Participating in combat and completing bonus goals allows you to purchase upgrades for your plane. You can acquire Woodstock-guided missiles, water balloons, a potato shotgun, and more. While the challenge level isn’t exactly high, there are lots of missions and as the difficulty ramps up, you certainly won’t be able to sleepwalk through them. The difficulty level and forgiving controls appears to be well suited for less experienced players. The developers took a bunch of good ideas from other titles and assembled a rock solid action game for the younger set.

TRAMA

Il barone Frankenstein conduce una serie di esperimenti nel laboratorio del suo castello:
vuol creare un uomo ed una donna perfetti con le migliori parti anatomiche \"prelevate\" da cadaveri.
Il suo sogno è creare una super-razza dal loro accoppiamento, ma tutto andrà a rotoli, quando il cameriere riconosce
nelle fattezze dell’uomo artificiale il volto di un suo amico ucciso…

CURIOSITA\'

* Antonio venne contattato da Carlo Ponti, che aveva prodotto i suoi ultimi quattro film, per aiutarlo in due film che aveva in preparazione con Andy Warhol e Paul Morrisey: \"Flesh for Frankenstein\" e \"Blood for Dracula\" (tradotti \"Carne per Frankenstein\" e \"Sangue per Dracula\", titoli molto realistici ed appropriati, in seguito, visto il risultato grottesco delle due opere, venne fatta la scelta di identificarli come tali fina dal titolo stesso).

I problemi di Ponti erano molteplici: entrambi gli autori erano indubbiamente dei grandi artisti, ma poco tecnici nel loro modo di lavorare legato al cinema Underground, inoltre non esisteva una vera e propria sceneggiatura bensì un brogliaccio di poche pagine su cui improvvisavano con gli attori di giorno in giorno, e la preparazione procedeva in maniera confusa, ma soprattutto l\'idea di scritturare Antonio gli venne perché entrambi i film dovevano contenere alcune sequenze in 3D, con un nuovo sistema ottico a lenti polarizzate. Erano trucchi molto complessi, ma il pane quotidiano per Antonio, che oltretutto aveva già avuto delle esperienze con il tridimensionale in passato. Antonio venne scritturato come Co-regista, (o regista tecnico) per aiutare Morrisey e Warhol nelle riprese degli effetti speciali e tridimensionali.

L\'apporto di Antonio al film è stato sempre oggetto di molte discussioni, finite anche in tribunale, per una delle cause che coinvolsero la Società di produzione. Come già detto, il film procedeva senza un vero copione, Warhol e Morrisey improvvisavano quotidianamente insieme agli attori. Cosa che sembra risultò in un materiale slegato e di difficile montaggio. La \"paternità\" di questi due film va senz\'altro attribuita a Paul Morrisey, mentre Antonio si è occupato principalmente di dirigere le sequenze in 3D e, per \"Il Mostro è in Tavola... Barone Frankenstein\" a riprese ultimate, le sequenze dei due bambini \"Diastola\" e \"Sistole\" che facevano da collante alle altre scene, altrimenti di difficile montaggio. La regia di entrambi i film venne attribuita alla coppia Warhol/Morrisey nel mercato americano, mentre in Europa, la società di distribuzione decise di usare la firma del co-regista, cioè Anthony M. Dawson, un nome che gli offriva maggiori garanzie di incassi sul territorio nazionale ed europeo.

La situazione fu molto imbarazzante per Antonio a causa delle polemiche nate successivamente ed in seguito alle dichiarazioni di Morrisey che ne disconosceva l\'operato. Ma la realtà è che i film sono attribuibili esclusivamente ad Andy Warhol e Paul Morrisey, da tutto si denota la loro regia ed il loro gusto per l\'ambiguo e lo splatter (genere molto lontano dal gusto di Antonio), mentre si riconoscono, anche puramente a livello tecnico con i movimenti di macchina ed il gusto nelle inquadrature, le scene fatte da Margheriti per i motivi spiegati precedentemente. Materiale comunque insufficiente per attribuirgliene la regia, un\'operazione esclusivamente commerciale, che ha macchiato l\'onesta carriera di un regista come Antonio Margheriti, un artigiano la cui unica colpa è quella di aver lavorato per passione, e a volte troppo, accettando progetti ed offerte che lo divertivano, ma che avrebbe dovuto valutare diversamente.

Se guardate bene il manifesto Italiano, vi accorgerete che il titolo è stato storpiato, non so se per errore o intenzionalmente, comunque si nomina un Frankstein e non Frankenstein come nel romanzo o nel titolo della versione inglese. Lo ho inserito correttamente non volendo storpiare il nome del mitico scienziato.
