DESCRIPTION: For those who remember when fax modems were essential to PCs, the INTEL series were true workhorses. They could be installed in teams, and run fax servers like nothin else.
Their reliability is such that no real changes have been made to their design, save for further miniaturization of certain components, and even more efficient usage of voltage and amperage across the circuitry.
However, for those who have high performance machines, with quad cores, 8GB or more, and absolutely must run Windows XP Professional x64 edition, this modem had a driver as hard to find as an intelligent blonde.
So after weeks of looking, and finally finding one that really works, (shame on you, INTEL, for abandoning support of your best modem to date...) I decided to take the plunge and share witht he world, and scoffers be damned!
This is why P2P is important...so stuff we need doesn't dissapear forever...
